SICC mourns Richard Benaud

It is with deep regret we mourn the passing of our dear friend and colleague Richie Benaud, who was our club’s patron for over 20 years.

A regular visitor to Sarasota, he and Daphne enjoyed the many vacations and took a huge interest in the development of the Sarasota International Cricket Club.

In cricket circles, he was an Icon, a wonderful player and an ambassador for the game. Richie Benaud will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
