The ethos of the Sarasota Thanksgiving Festival, now in it's 22th year, is welcoming and "fun," rather than "tournament" cricket. It's three days of non-stop six-a-side cricket, a lively and fun format that gets all players into the game, interspersed with a full social program with the opportunity to meet and have fun with fellow cricket lovers from around the U.S. and internationally at a first-rate cricket facility, in the world class destination of Sarasota on Florida's Suncoast.
This year’s tournament shall be a 3-day event, starting Friday, November 25th 2016 and culminating in a late Sunday afternoon Final on November 27th 2016.
About the Tournament
- Where: Sarasota International Cricket Club, Sarasota, Florida
- When: Friday through Sunday, November 25 to 27, 2016 the U.S Thanksgiving weekend.
- What: Six-a-Side Cricket, 10 teams in two divisions of five play round robins on Friday and Saturday. All teams in Sunday play-offs to decide festival and cup, plate, bowl and medal winners.
